Seven Colorado wineries were awarded medals at the 9th annual Denver International Wine Competition (DIWC), held Sept. 7-8 at the Omni Interlocken Resort in Broomfield, Colo. More than 750 wines were entered by winemakers from all over the world, and a total of 261 medals were awarded, including two “Best of Shows” and 11 Double Golds.

Medal winners receive entry to the 9th annual Denver International Wine Festival (DIWF), a wine and food festival showcasing more than 400 international wines at the Omni Interlocken Resort, November 6-10.

The seven award-winning Colorado wineries earning medals were Balistreri Vineyards, Boulder Creek Winery, Creekside Cellars, Graystone Winery, Talon Winery, Meadery of the Rockies, and St Kathryn Cellars.
